Self Defence

Handle a dangerous situation with a clear head.

Next class:

What it is

Recognise a dangerous situation, keep your distance, get out of it. Simple, repeatable techniques, stress management, what to do before and after physical contact.

Who it is for

Adults, with no particular physical requirements. Useful also for those who do not want to practise a combat sport.

What a session looks like

Typical structure: the coach adapts it to the group.

  • Warm-up

Mobility, rope, bodyweight drills: about 15 minutes.

  • Technique

Fundamentals and combinations, alone and with a partner, with individual corrections.

  • Sparring and cool-down

Controlled-intensity work with protective gear. Then stretching.

Course contents

A complete program, from mindset to technique.

  • The attacker's psychology
  • Handling dangerous situations
  • Managing stress
  • The right techniques, applied at the right moment
  • Built on biomechanics: effective regardless of physical strength
