Terms and conditions
The association's terms.
This page says briefly how the relationship with the association works and where to find the full terms. It does not replace them: if the two differ, the general terms are what counts.
The general terms
The association's general terms and conditions govern joining, memberships, pausing and cancelling. You will find them in the member area together with the statute, and you accept them when you join.
Joining, renewal and cancellation
The contract is personal and cannot be transferred. These are the points that concern most members; the full terms are in the general terms.
- From the age of 15 you sign with the written consent of a parent or guardian; for the Kids groups a parent signs.
- With monthly payment the membership renews for the same term unless you cancel in writing two months before it ends.
- With a single upfront payment the membership ends on its expiry date, with no cancellation needed.
- The fee is paid before the period starts and does not depend on how many classes you attend.
Pausing a membership
A membership can be paused on the conditions set out in the general terms. In short:
- You need a valid reason: illness, pregnancy, injury, military service, work or study abroad.
- The pause lasts from one to nine months and is requested before the absence, with a document that supports it.
- For holidays there is a one-off pause of one to four months, with an administrative fee.
- During the pause the monthly fee stays due and the time is added at the end of the contract.
Prices
The prices published on this site are in Swiss francs and hold until the price list is next updated. What counts for your membership is the price list in force when you join.
This site
This site is here to inform you and to book a free trial lesson. You cannot take out a membership or pay from here: joining happens at the gym or in the member area.
The trial lesson
One free trial lesson per person, for kids and adults. We call you back to book it and it commits you to nothing; if you cannot make it, just tell us. In the gym the mat rules apply: bare feet, and clothing without zips.
Training safely
Martial arts and combat sports carry a physical risk. Whoever trains follows the instructors' directions and the gym rules. Insurance, any medical paperwork required and liability are dealt with in the general terms and the statute.
Personal data
How we handle the data you send from this site is explained in the privacy notice.
Applicable law
Swiss law applies to the relationship with the association. Lugano is the competent court for any dispute.
