Wushu

Forms, jumps, balance: the Chinese martial art.

Next class:

What it is

The Chinese martial art: codified forms, kicks and jumps, footwork and balance. You train posture, coordination and elastic power, with sequences that change rhythm from start to finish. The level is built one movement at a time.

Who it is for

Adults and teenagers who want a technical, athletic martial art, with or without experience. Useful also to anyone coming from another combat sport, for mobility and balance.

What a session looks like

Typical structure: the coach adapts it to the group.

  • Warm-up

Mobility, rope, bodyweight drills: about 15 minutes.

  • Technique

Fundamentals and combinations, alone and with a partner, with individual corrections.

  • Sparring and cool-down

Controlled-intensity work with protective gear. Then stretching.
